My goal
To create visuals that capture attention, spark emotion, and keep your audience coming back.
I help artisans, food & drink brands, event organizers, and tourism & outdoor players attract more clients, strengthen loyalty, and boost their visibility through human and authentic photo reportages.
I’m Phuong Toan Tran (aka Toan), a photographer based in Lausanne.
Craftsmanship has always been part of my life. Growing up, I watched my father, a chef, perfect every dish, and my mother, a seamstress, bring fabrics to life. From them, I learned the value of detail and the beauty of work well done. As a teenager, I discovered the visual arts and the magic a simple pencil could create. Later, I moved into engineering, another form of art, more technical, where I developed rigor, efficiency, and project management skills. After several years in that field, the pull of creativity and human connection grew stronger. That’s when photography became my language: a way to tell visual stories, showcase craftsmanship, reveal places, and capture moments full of emotion.
Today, I bring this experience together to serve four main industries: craftsmanship, food & drink, events, and outdoor & tourism. What unites them all is the same foundation: human stories worth seeing, sharing, and remembering.
A flexible approach
My experience across different industries allows me to quickly adapt to the needs and expectations of each project.
You can find me hiking in nature, traveling around the world, exploring meditation practices, or cooking some homey food.
A vibrant health, a harmonious simplicity, and a tiny bit of spice!
